And now, behold, the kingH4428 walkethH1980 beforeH6440 you; and I am oldH2204 and grayheadedH7867; and, behold, my sonsH1121 are with you: and I have walkedH1980 beforeH6440 you from my youthH5271 unto this dayH3117.
Here I am: witnessH6030 against me before JehovahH3068, and before his anointedH4899: whose oxH7794 have I takenH3947? or whose assH2543 have I takenH3947? or whom have I defraudedH6231? whom have I oppressedH7533? or of whose handH3027 have I taken a ransomH3724 to blindH5956 mine eyesH5869 therewith? and I will restoreH7725 it you.
And they saidH559, Thou hast not defraudedH6231 us, nor oppressedH7533 us, neither hast thou takenH3947 aughtH3972 of any man'sH376 handH3027.
And he saidH559 unto them, JehovahH3068 is witnessH5707 against you, and his anointedH4899 is witnessH5707 this dayH3117, that ye have not foundH4672 aughtH3972 in my handH3027. And they saidH559, He is witnessH5707.

And when ye sawH7200 that NahashH5176 the kingH4428 of the childrenH1121 of AmmonH5983 cameH935 against you, ye saidH559 unto me, Nay, but a kingH4428 shall reignH4427 over us; when JehovahH3068 your GodH430 was your kingH4428.
Now therefore behold the kingH4428 whom ye have chosenH977, and whom ye have askedH7592 for: and, behold, JehovahH3068 hath setH5414 a kingH4428 over you.
If ye will fearH3372 JehovahH3068, and serveH5647 him, and hearkenH8085 unto his voiceH6963, and not rebelH4784 against the commandmentH6310 of JehovahH3068, and both ye and also the kingH4428 that reignethH4427 over you be followersH310 of JehovahH3068 your GodH430, well:
but if ye will not hearkenH8085 unto the voiceH6963 of JehovahH3068, but rebelH4784 against the commandmentH6310 of JehovahH3068, then will the handH3027 of JehovahH3068 be against you, as it was against your fathersH1.
Now thereforeH1571 standH3320 still and seeH7200 this greatH1419 thingH1697, which JehovahH3068 will doH6213 before your eyesH5869.
Is it not wheatH2406 harvestH7105 to-dayH3117? I will callH7121 unto JehovahH3068, that he may sendH5414 thunderH6963 and rainH4306; and ye shall knowH3045 and seeH7200 that your wickednessH7451 is greatH7227, which ye have doneH6213 in the sightH5869 of JehovahH3068, in askingH7592 you a kingH4428.

And all the peopleH5971 saidH559 unto SamuelH8050, PrayH6419 for thy servantsH5650 unto JehovahH3068 thy GodH430, that we dieH4191 not; for we have addedH3254 unto all our sinsH2403 this evilH7451, to askH7592 us a kingH4428.
And SamuelH8050 saidH559 unto the peopleH5971, FearH3372 not; ye have indeed doneH6213 all this evilH7451; yet turn not asideH5493 from followingH310 JehovahH3068, but serveH5647 JehovahH3068 with all your heartH3824:
and turn ye not asideH5493; for then would ye go afterH310 vainH8414 things which cannot profitH3276 nor deliverH5337, for they are vainH8414.
For JehovahH3068 will not forsakeH5203 his peopleH5971 for his greatH1419 name'sH8034 sake, because it hath pleasedH2974 JehovahH3068 to makeH6213 you a peopleH5971 unto himself.
Moreover as for meH595, farH2486 be it from me that I should sinH2398 against JehovahH3068 in ceasingH2308 to prayH6419 for you: but I will instructH3384 you in the goodH2896 and the rightH3477 wayH1870.
Only fearH3372 JehovahH3068, and serveH5647 him in truthH571 with all your heartH3824; for considerH7200 how great things he hath doneH1431 for you.
But if ye shall stillH7489 do wickedlyH7489, ye shall be consumedH5595, both ye and your kingH4428.
