and he saidH559, JehovahH3068 is my rockH5553, and my fortressH4686, and my delivererH6403, even mine;
GodH430, my rockH6697, in him will I take refugeH2620; My shieldH4043, and the hornH7161 of my salvationH3468, my high towerH4869, and my refugeH4498; My saviourH3467, thou savestH3467 me from violenceH2555.
I will callH7121 upon JehovahH3068, who is worthy to be praisedH1984: So shall I be savedH3467 from mine enemiesH341.
For the wavesH4867 of deathH4194 compassedH661 me; The floodsH5158 of ungodlinessH1100 made me afraidH1204:

JehovahH3068 rewardedH1580 me according to my righteousnessH6666; According to the cleannessH1252 of my handsH3027 hath he recompensedH7725 me.
For I have keptH8104 the waysH1870 of JehovahH3068, And have not wickedly departedH7561 from my GodH430.
For all his ordinancesH4941 were before me; And as for his statutesH2708, I did not departH5493 from them.
I was also perfectH8549 toward him; And I keptH8104 myself from mine iniquityH5771.
Therefore hath JehovahH3068 recompensedH7725 me according to my righteousnessH6666, According to my cleannessH1252 in his eyesightH5048.
With the mercifulH2623 thou wilt show thyself mercifulH2616; With the perfectH8549 manH1368 thou wilt show thyself perfectH8549;
With the pureH1305 thou wilt show thyself pureH1305; And with the perverseH6141 thou wilt show thyself frowardH6141.
And the afflictedH6041 peopleH5971 thou wilt saveH3467; But thine eyesH5869 are upon the haughtyH7311, that thou mayest bring them downH8213.
For thou art my lampH5216, O JehovahH3068; And JehovahH3068 will lightenH5050 my darknessH2822.
For by thee I runH7323 upon a troopH1416; By my GodH430 do I leap overH1801 a wallH7791.
As for GodH410, his wayH1870 is perfectH8549: The wordH565 of JehovahH3068 is triedH6884; He is a shieldH4043 unto all them that take refugeH2620 in him.
For who is GodH410, saveH1107 JehovahH3068? And who is a rockH6697, saveH1107 our GodH430?
GodH410 is my strongH4581 fortressH2428; And he guidethH5425 the perfectH8549 in his wayH1870.
He makethH7737 his feetH7272 likeH7737 hindsH355' feet, And settethH5975 me upon my high placesH1116.

For thou hast girdedH247 me with strengthH2428 unto the battleH4421; Thou hast subduedH3766 under me those that rose upH6965 against me.

They lookedH8159, but there was none to saveH3467; Even unto JehovahH3068, but he answeredH6030 them not.
Then did I beatH7833 them small as the dustH6083 of the earthH776, I did crushH1854 them as the mireH2916 of the streetsH2351, and did spread them abroadH7554.
Thou also hast deliveredH6403 me from the strivingsH7379 of my peopleH5971; Thou hast keptH8104 me to be the headH7218 of the nationsH1471: A peopleH5971 whom I have not knownH3045 shall serveH5647 me.
The foreignersH1121 shall submitH3584 themselves unto me: As soon as they hearH8085 of me, they shall obeyH8085 me.
The foreignersH1121 shall fade awayH5034, And shall come tremblingH2296 out of their close placesH4526.
JehovahH3068 livethH2416; And blessedH1288 be my rockH6697; And exaltedH7311 be GodH430, the rockH6697 of my salvationH3468,
Even the GodH410 that executeth vengeanceH5414 for me, And that bringeth downH3381 peoplesH5971 under me,
And that bringeth me forthH3318 from mine enemiesH341: Yea, thou liftest me up aboveH7311 them that rise upH6965 against me; Thou deliverestH5337 me from the violentH2555 manH376.
Therefore I will give thanksH3034 unto thee, O JehovahH3068, among the nationsH1471, And will sing praisesH2167 unto thy nameH8034.
GreatH4024 deliveranceH3444 giveth he to his kingH4428, And showethH6213 lovingkindnessH2617 to his anointedH4899, To DavidH1732 and to his seedH2233, forH5704 evermoreH5769.
