Thou shalt not takeH5375 the nameH8034 of JehovahH3068 thy GodH430 in vainH7723; for JehovahH3068 will not hold him guiltlessH5352 that takethH5375 his nameH8034 in vainH7723.
RememberH2142 the sabbathH7676 dayH3117, to keep it holyH6942.
SixH8337 daysH3117 shalt thou laborH5647, and doH6213 all thy workH4399;
but the seventhH7637 dayH3117 is a sabbathH7676 unto JehovahH3068 thy GodH430: in it thou shalt not doH6213 any workH4399, thou, nor thy sonH1121, nor thy daughterH1323, thy man-servantH5650, nor thy maid-servantH519, nor thy cattleH929, nor thy strangerH1616 that is within thy gatesH8179:
for in sixH8337 daysH3117 JehovahH3068 madeH6213 heavenH8064 and earthH776, the seaH3220, and all that in them is, and restedH5117 the seventhH7637 dayH3117: wherefore JehovahH3068 blessedH1288 the sabbathH7676 dayH3117, and hallowedH6942 it.

Ye shall not makeH6213 other godsH430 with me; gods of silverH3701, or godsH430 of goldH2091, ye shall not makeH6213 unto you.
An altarH4196 of earthH127 thou shalt makeH6213 unto me, and shalt sacrificeH2076 thereon thy burnt-offeringsH5930, and thy peace-offeringsH8002, thy sheepH6629, and thine oxenH1241: in every placeH4725 where I recordH2142 my nameH8034 I will comeH935 unto thee and I will blessH1288 thee.
And if thou makeH6213 me an altarH4196 of stoneH68, thou shalt not buildH1129 it of hewn stonesH1496; for if thou lift upH5130 thy toolH2719 upon it, thou hast pollutedH2490 it.
Neither shalt thou go upH5927 by stepsH4609 unto mine altarH4196, that thy nakednessH6172 be not uncoveredH1540 thereon.
