O JehovahH3068, thou art my GodH430; I will exaltH7311 thee, I will praiseH3034 thy nameH8034; for thou hast doneH6213 wonderfulH6382 things, even counselsH6098 of oldH7350, in faithfulnessH530 and truthH544. For thou hast madeH7760 of a cityH5892 a heapH1530, of a fortifiedH1219 cityH7151 a ruinH4654, a palaceH759 of strangersH2114 to be no cityH5892; it shall neverH5769 be builtH1129. Therefore shall a strongH5794 peopleH5971 glorifyH3513 thee; a cityH7151 of terribleH6184 nationsH1471 shall fearH3372 thee. For thou hast been a strongholdH4581 to the poorH1800, a strongholdH4581 to the needyH34 in his distressH6862, a refugeH4268 from the stormH2230, a shadeH6738 from the heatH2721, when the blastH7307 of the terrible onesH6184 is as a stormH2230 against the wallH7023. As the heatH2721 in a dry placeH6724 wilt thou bring downH3665 the noiseH7588 of strangersH2114; as the heatH2721 by the shadeH6738 of a cloudH5645, the songH2159 of the terrible onesH6184 shall be brought lowH6030. And in this mountainH2022 will JehovahH3068 of hostsH6635 makeH6213 unto all peoplesH5971 a feastH4960 of fat thingsH8081, a feastH4960 of wines on the leesH8105, of fat thingsH8081 full of marrowH4229, of wines on the leesH8105 well refinedH2212. And he will destroyH1104 in this mountainH2022 the faceH6440 of the coveringH3875 that coverethH3874 all peoplesH5971, and the veilH4541 that is spreadH5259 over all nationsH1471. He hath swallowed upH1104 deathH4194 for everH5331; and the LordH136 JehovahH3069 will wipe awayH4229 tearsH1832 from off all facesH6440; and the reproachH2781 of his peopleH5971 will he take awayH5493 from off all the earthH776: for JehovahH3068 hath spokenH1696 it. And it shall be saidH559 in that dayH3117, Lo, this is our GodH430; we have waitedH6960 for him, and he will saveH3467 us: this is JehovahH3068; we have waitedH6960 for him, we will be gladH1523 and rejoiceH8055 in his salvationH3444. For in this mountainH2022 will the handH3027 of JehovahH3068 restH5117; and MoabH4124 shall be trodden downH1758 in his place, even as strawH4963 is trodden downH1758 in the water of the dunghillH4087. And he shall spread forthH6566 his handsH3027 in the midstH7130 thereof, as he that swimmethH7811 spreadeth forthH6566 his hands to swimH7811; but Jehovah will lay lowH8213 his prideH1346 together with the craftH698 of his handsH3027. And the highH4869 fortressH4013 of thy wallsH2346 hath he brought downH7817, laid lowH8213, and broughtH5060 to the groundH776, even to the dustH6083.
