My sonH1121, if thou wilt receiveH3947 my wordsH561, And layH6845 up my commandmentsH4687 with thee;
So as to inclineH7181 thine earH241 unto wisdomH2451, And applyH5186 thy heartH3820 to understandingH8394;
Yea, if thou cryH7121 after discernmentH998, And lift upH5414 thy voiceH6963 for understandingH8394;

For JehovahH3068 givethH5414 wisdomH2451; Out of his mouthH6310 cometh knowledgeH1847 and understandingH1847:
He layeth upH6845 sound wisdomH8454 for the uprightH3477; He is a shieldH4043 to them that walkH1980 in integrityH8537;
