Give everybody a chance. All those chatting it up in the lobby, come on in, come on in. Hey, it's great to see you guys this morning. How many of you guys were filled up last night? What an awesome word. We're around together. Why don't you stand with us? We're just going to start off with some worship. You know, I was listening about Terrell's word last night. One of the things that he stuck out to me, talked about how the foresight in God's providence that this conference, the theme of this conference, there was a providence in it, there was a foresight in it. He said that this time might be for present hardships or maybe even future challenges this season. And I was thinking about, you know, just coming from Florida, how, you know, a tornado in Florida, we have a window of preparedness when hurricanes are coming.
Everybody goes to Costco and they get their waters and they get toilet paper. I mean, you can't live without toilet paper for a couple of days, right? I mean, people... People fight over toilet paper in Florida. But you get all of your stuff, you get your batteries lined up, you get your gas, you get prepared.
And I was thinking about the conference. You know, today, we're going to be walking through the Costco aisles of the kingdom to pick up whatever you may need for the season you're in. And maybe the season is coming your way. So today is, as Terrell shares, as Randy comes, we just want to have a sense that God is equipping us today. Amen? Amen. Amen. Amen. God is... That he's imparting something to us.
That everything we need, heaven is providing today. And we just got to be sensitive to say, hey, that was for me. Write that down. That was for me. I'm going to pray into that. I'm going to grab a hold of that. So let's just surrender ourselves this morning as we go into worship. Father, today, we thank you that no matter if there's hardships on the way or there's present circumstances that are challenging our lives, we're anchored in you. And there's an endless supply of heaven. There's. There's an endless supply for the believer of strength, of peace. There's an endless supply of weapons, of warfare to the believer today. And God, as we come together in faith, reaching out to you, we ask you that there be a word for each of us in due season. And there be a sensitivity on our behalf, God, to jump and grab a hold of whatever you have for us. Lord, would you be honored and glorified this morning. It's in your precious name, Jesus, we pray. Come on, let's worship together. Sincerely. Called him times when walking through some very difficult things. You need times for people that understand how to walk through certain areas. And so I appreciate him so much. I believe it was 23 years ago that I met our next speaker. Megan Beverly and Amy and I, they were at that time living in Selma, California. We flew out and met in Santa Barbara. And there was a conference that we were connected with. We had gotten connected with Dennis Peacock back in the 80s when he was coming into Oklahoma City occasionally and teaching an area there in 85. And so we got connected with him. And he came for our first, not first, but one of our conferences in 89, just like this right here, came in 89 and imparted. We'd been teaching on the kingdom at that time for several years, about four or five years, and he came with a real challenge and just had that. And he said, well, Dennis has that means of stirring our hearts. And my wife went to law school as a result of that, got involved in the community in a whole different way. I did too. We just really focused into the community. And Dennis has that means of stirring you in that area. And so got involved in the leadership clamor, Chamber of Commerce, served six years in that way. My wife started the Tri-County CASA. And that was, I really believe, an impact from Dennis. And so when we went out there in 2003, there in the meeting was Randy. And I didn't know who he was, but I knew he was Ed Gilslider's lost brother somewhere. And so then 2011, we wanted to go out and meet up with Dennis again, went out to Washington State, and Dennis was on his,
