What pastors are saying
“You know what you need if you're struggling with that? Lots of prayer. And can I suggest to you fasting? Prayer and fasting.”
“Fasting is getting rid of the clutter. Fasting is so you can be consistent in your prayer time with God.”
“Prayer and fasting prepare us and position us for revival, which requires favor from God and at times favor from man.”
“When I was looking at this, I realized God can't be manipulated. God does not need to fast. We do. And our fasting must be directed toward spiritual values.”
“Fasting dethrones the authority of the stomach for a period of time, because it trains our heart to hunger for the things of the Spirit instead of the things of the flesh.”
