I just pray that you would fill this place, Lord, that your presence would invade, Lord, that we would have excellence in the music, Lord, but more than anything, that our heart for you would go forth, Lord, and that that would be the most contagious thing, Lord, that everyone who's here tonight worshiping, Lord, that they would worship you in spirit and in truth. Let your worshipers be released tonight, Lord. Let them be released into greater freedom in worshiping you, Lord. Help us to work well together. Help us to follow your flow. I feel like the Lord is captivating this time and putting nations in front of our face. And I know we just heard from Israel, from Iran, and I feel like we're supposed to sing that part, Hallelujah, every voice will proclaim there is no higher name, over Iran tonight, over those nations that God is placing in our heart. And I believe this is a season God is saying, I am captivating. Have I not called you to the nations here in Claremont, USA, I have brought the nations to you. And I will captivate some of these songs. The worship team will be singing songs of our nations. And I really believe tonight as we sing that, and we're proclaiming every name, we'll be bowed before Jesus, that there is one name, one name for Iran. We'll proclaim that tonight. Oh, sing it church, as you believe that. There is no higher name, over Iran tonight, to which we will sing. There is no higher, there is to which we will name, the name, the name, of all that my shepherd is causing on, and I have your gospel, and all is your name, praise your name, serve the bread again, it's your name, Jesus, as your glory fills this place, the Lord is with us. Come over here. Every time I sing, that song, every time I sing that song, my mind goes to Las Carabas. And I want us to sing it. You have a heart for the nations. Haiti, which you're from, is in great need. There were nine of us in a van, going through this village in Haiti, about a few miles from the border of Dominican Republic, on that side of Haiti. And without talking to one another, we're all in conversation. All nine of us began to speak in tongues, simultaneously. It's like we were saying hi, and then we shifted. You were in the van, probably 18, 17, 18 years old. When we got down to Las Carabas, we said, what is going on on that mountain? And the pastor said, that's goat mountain. So that's where baby doc and poppy doc go to get direction from the voodoo witch in that city. What I didn't tell you is when I looked out the curtain of the van, I've never seen so many deformed people in my life. It looked like a zombie movie. They were bent and ever contorted in every direction. I'd never seen that to this day. I've not seen it again. I wondered what in the world is going on spiritually until we were told. When we came back to that city, what did we do? We got right out in the middle of the street of that city and we began to sing. We exalt thee. And as we sang it, we sensed something was happening in the heavenlies. And I want us to sing. Luna, I want you to sing it with us. We're going to sing it with you over the nation. We're going to sing it over the nation of Haiti. Is that all right? We're going to sing it over other nations as well, but lift your voice together. Sing it again. Sing it. Sing and worship for yourself. There's something beyond when you worship on behalf of someone else. When you stand in the gap for those brothers and sisters that don't have the voice to sing and exalt God on their behalf. Something happens to you. You lay down the rest of the world. And what? Easily besets you. And when you praise the Lord, you go beyond yourself. Let's sing it one more time. We exalt you, Lord. We exalt you. Praise the Lord. We exalt ye, praise God, abilities therefore to the King and to reconcile the lost. Redeem the whole creation who did not despise the cross. For even in your suffering to salt to the other side. What? Knowing this was our salvation Jesus, for our sake you died. Sons, we pray to the King that you rose. All of heaven held its breath. The sun was moved for good. For the Lamb has conquered death. For the temple's from their tomb. And the angels to lean on. For the souls of all who've come. To the Father are restored. And the church of Christ was born. And the spirit of flame. And the gospel truth of all. It shall not be, it shall not be. For the love of Jesus Christ. Has resurrected me. He did not come to start a religion. He came to build a body. He came to build a body. Not a hierarchy. Where a few would perform. While the rest observed. Not a system where the qualified. Carry what the entire body. Was designed to bear together. He designed a family. Not an audience. Every member a minister. Christ himself gave the apostles. The prophets, the evangelists. The pastors and the teachers. To equip his people. For the work of service. So that the body of Christ. May be built up. Ephesians 4, verse 11-12. The fivefold gifts. Were never meant to replace. The ministry of the body. Were never meant to equip it. This is how the kingdom expands. Not through a single voice. Projected into a massive crowd. But through a family of voices. Fathers and sons. Team upon team. Generation upon generation. Everyone carrying their part. Each one functioning in their gift. Each one anchored to the same thing. And moving together. Last night we asked the question. What is your work standing on? Tonight the question goes deeper. Have you allowed the Lord to be with you? Have you allowed yourself to be anchored? Not just affiliated. Not just showing up when convenient. Not connected in name. While still operating alone. Planted. Rooted in a body of people. Accountable to others. Functioning for the sake of others. Not just your own growth. Because the kingdom of God is built relationally. Not organizationally. And an anchor holds the whole vessel. Not just the parts that fell ready. He designed you for this. The question is Will you embrace it? Good question. It's my honor tonight to introduce to you Terrell Murphy. A good friend of ours. A brother that I just have grown to respect and honor. A number of years ago I don't know how long ago I knew of him. But I see him across the room in some of the meetings. But I made my way over to make sure I connected with him. A few years ago. In a Dennis Peacock meeting of course. And in that connection. It has become a delight. I appreciate his seasoning. The leadership. That he carries. Pastoring a great work. In Charlotte, North Carolina. And laboring there within the city. Having a voice in the city. And I think he's got a voice. In our city right here. What do you think? So join me in welcoming. He's so incredible. And so awesome. And so necessary. In all of our lives. And he's really the only reason. That we're here. I know that you're elated to see men and women. From different parts of the country. And you haven't been together. But then I also know there's a family here. A community here. That stays together. A lot. But while we do adore and edify. And honor one another. He is the main reason. Thank you Glenn. For allowing me to leave the east coast. To come to the middle of the state. Of the nation. And I appreciate you and Amy so much. Thank you for your life first. And then thank you for your leadership. Can we give them a hand. For just being incredible. In who they are. In God. And creating an atmosphere. For all of us. To grow in. It's good to be with you. It's been a while. I thought that maybe. The last time I was here I blew it. And so I was wondering. If I'd ever make it back. But it's always a joy. When you know that God. Puts your name in someone's heart. No matter what it's about. If it's about ministry. If it's about just blessing you. In some other way. To know that God thinks about you. Is tremendous. And that's how I feel about you. And how focused he is. On every single life. And the plans that he has for everyone. God intends to bring those things to pass. And so I'm glad that you're here tonight. That the Lord can continue to build. Into your life. What he's doing. Now in Charlotte, North Carolina. I kind of do some call and response sometimes. So there may be some things. That I ask you to say. Don't freak out. Don't panic. I'm not going to have you prophesying. Just going to have you. Creating some things. That are building the posture. Of your own life before God. Can we give Jonathan a hand last night. For the message that he ministered. He's a bad man. I don't know where he is. There he is right there. But he's such a joy to be with. So Father, we're men and women. Yelled to you. And we declare that your lordship. Is in the earth. Your lordship is in this building. It's in our hearts. And as we humble ourselves. Under your mighty hand. We declare that you're going to move us. Into everything that you've ordained. For us to catch. To take hold of. This night and this week. Thank you for allowing me. To be a part that is being played. In what you're laying out. In the hearts of people. And in the work of your kingdom. We declare that spirit of the living God. You will touch. You will minister to. You will impart. You will strengthen. You will anoint. You will direct. You will reorder. You will restore. You will reform. You'll bring your people. Into the strength of you. And manifest all that you've ordained. For them before the foundation of the world. And those that are agreeing with me. Said amen. Well, turn in your Bibles to John, the 16th chapter. I'm not going to read from there right now. But I do believe that through this meeting God's bringing us into a deeper understanding. Of the hope that we have in him. He is sure. And he is steadfast. And he is steadfast. And he is truly an anchor. To the soul of everyone that is in here. He gives us hope. But that hope as well is faith. It's faith in him being everything that he said that he is. And he continues to prove it generation after generation. So as I was saying in my prayer. I'm not here to do anything. But fill in the space to this ordination. That God has manifested. What is it the part. What is the part that God has manifested. That he has for me to play. And that's what I'm doing tonight. And just fitting in between. Things that have already been said. Again, Jonathan ministered wonderfully last night. Glenn this morning. Was incredible impartation. And just the grace of God. That is on Cheryl. Was so wonderful. As she just shared and poured out. Of her being this morning. And so my hope again. Is to fit in where God's allowing me. To get in and bring insight and direction. As I was saying. Turn to John the 16th chapter. Does anybody know what verse. Just checking your prophetic. But John 16. When you look at that. The back story of it. It really reveals a discourse. That Christ is having. With his disciples. And in that discourse. When you read it. You're able to peer. Into the moment. That Jesus speaks some mighty powerful things to them. Because Jesus understands. That they're about to move. Into some challenging situation. There is some trouble. On the horizon that was before them. And Jesus' aim. In this discourse. Was that number one. To make them aware. Of the coming hardships. Which is always a good thing. Number two. It was to comfort them. Because as he imparted words. Into them. When God speaks into you. It's good to remember those things. Or allow the spirit of God. To bring them to your remembrance. So you can be built up in them. And be comforted by them. And then number three. Jesus wanted to proclaim to them. That whatever troubles. That they were going to meet. In the world. To be of good cheer. Because he had already. Overcome that. By the virtue of his victory. And that they could have peace. In him. As they stayed focused on him. And moved in what it was. That he was calling them into. And then in verse 33. That's where we're going tonight. He brings some consolation. To them. John 16, 33. Jesus says I have told you these things. So that in me. You may have perfect peace. And you may have confidence. He goes on to say. In the world. You have tribulation. And trials and distress. And frustration. But be of good cheer. Meaning take courage. Be confident. Be certain. Be undaunted. Undaunted meaning. Not to be frightened. Or dismayed. About the things. That you are entering. When difficulties come into your life. Jesus lays all these things. Out to them. And then he sums it up by saying. For I have overcome. The world. Which is incredible. And awesome news. What he's really saying there. And this is what we have to understand. As believers. Is that he was saying I have deprived. I have severely restricted. The power of the adversary. From harming you. Because I've already conquered it. For you. That's good news. He's saying that I have severely restricted him. This is why we have to be people. Of the kingdom. Who realize. That nothing happens. Until there's a sound. And sometimes we have to take. The sound of God's words. And we have to apply them. To circumstances and situations. In our lives. In the beginning. God says. It is so. Let there be. Let there be. Let there be. And everything God ever said to be. Continues to be. Which shows us the power. Of what God has put inside of us. When it aligns perfectly. With what it is that God is doing. At any time. In any season. And so you can remember. That God has severely restricted. Any power. That is trying to work against you. I believe as men and women of God. It's very important. That we understand. How God wants to move with us. And what it is that God is doing with us. We have to realize. Number one. That he is our savior. And that every bit of trust. That we have. In any situation. In any thing. Can be placed in him. Above anything. Jesus is well aware. Number one. Of who he is. And he's very well aware. Of his capacity. To be an anchor. Not just to those that remember. That he is speaking to at this time. But these are people. That Jesus has created. You're people that God has made. He has a vested interest in you. You're special to him. You're valuable to him. He has anointed you. He has called you. He has set you apart. He has given you every endowment. That you need for life. And for godliness. He's a God that cares tremendously. About his own. And so in this making of us. It is God's design. And God's desire. That we would be anchored in him. Being anchored in God. Is a part of the benefit package. That we have as believers. He says in Psalm. Bless the Lord oh my soul. And forget not all his benefits. Being anchored in him. Is a benefit. It is something that the Lord. Agreed with his counsel. Before the foundation of the world. That he was going to be. And provide for his people. And so we can rejoice. And again I say rejoice. Because we are anchored in a God. That is sovereign. And who does all things perfectly well. When I got this assignment. And spoke with Glenn about it. I really applauded him. For his leadership. As a watch. This is extremely important. In these times that we're living in. Because there's something. That he has sensed in his spirit. That needs to be done. To build you up into spirits. That are well able. To not only encounter. But you're able to endure. And coming hardships. Just as Paul told Timothy his son. He said Endure as a good soldier. So let's just be clear about this. It's not that we fear these times. We're not afraid. If I was in North Carolina. I'd say nothing. We're not afraid of nothing. So let's just make that clear. And get it into the atmosphere. It's not to stir any fear. But it's to bring you into the understanding. Of the Lord. To number one be on guard. Number two stand firm. Be courageous. Be strong. Can you say that with me number one. Be on guard. Stand firm. Be courageous. And be strong. It's imperative that as kingdom citizens. That we are very much aware. Of what I call the swords of the culture. Meaning that we live in a culture now. Where these swords yield themselves. Or apply themselves. To working difficulties for all people. Especially the believer. You are a threat to darkness. You are a whole problem for darkness. You're something darkness really doesn't want to deal with. Even as a son of the Christ. Had they known. They would not have done that to him. So the theories of the world systems. It's philosophies. It's ideas. It's ideologies. It's activities. All of these lead to the destruction of the cosmos. And it's all out of rejection of Jesus Christ as Lord. And the end result for all of these bends of society. Is that they impact all of us. Not to mention doubling them with principalities. And powers. And rulers of darkness. And spiritual wickedness in high places. Let me just shed some insight. Here as I'm building into where it is that I'm going. To be around midnight. Let me just shed some light. Because I don't have anywhere to go. I'm from the Carolinas. But understand. Let me shed some in light here. Many Christians struggle with this. If there is a God. Why am I having to deal with. What I'm having to deal with. Now you might not say that out loud. Because you may have your holy-think-of-you on. But when you get alone by yourself. In the middle of the night. Things are tight. You don't know what's going to work out. If it's going to work out. When it'll work out. What's the answer going to be. We all wonder. Even as Christ did. Why have you forsaken me. Why am I in this place. That I'm in right now. Well these devices. And schemes. Of this godless system. That we war against. Understand. They make difficulties. Unreachable. Unavoidable. Difficulties are unavoidable. However. We have to be mindful too. That their resulting hardships. And mishaps. And the difficulties themselves. Hear me now. Are the way of our Lord. They're used of God. They're even allowed of God. Why that we would encounter things. That are even unpleasant. Colossians 1 16 says. For it was in him. That all things. Were created. Now in North Carolina. All things means all. In Oklahoma. Does all things mean all. So all things. Were created. In heaven and earth. By him. Things that are seen. Things that are unseen. Whether they are thrones. Or dominions. Or rulers of authority. All things were created. And exist through him. By his service. And by his intervention. That's why you can be mind. In your own business. And then all of a sudden God intervenes. And the bottom drops. Out of something. Or a hardship comes. Or you begin to face something. That you never imagined you would have to face before. All of this comes from. The arm of Jesus. Jesus is the arm of the Lord. And the world was made. By that arm. All things are created. They were created by him. And they were created for him. Being made by whose power. His power. And they were all. Made according to his pleasure. And for his praise. Now you've got to walk. In the kingdom of God. To understand that. Because this is not talking. About what you want. This is talking about. What he wants. This is not about. The pleasure that you want. Out of anything. It's about what brings God pleasure. And he's saying that. For me to do. Whatever I want to do. Because I'm a sovereign God. When I want to do it. How I want to do it. In whoever's life I want to do it in. This brings me pleasure. And I want to do it. This is the love of God. Which seems so far from love. When I'm up against something. That is greater than me. He is the end. And as well. He causes or he is the cause. Of all things. I summarize this saying. Jesus sees your challenges. My challenges. What you and I have to deal with. He sees them as necessary. For the forming of the image. Of Christ inside of us. See we live in a world. Where we live all our lives. Until we come into a place. That we get saved. Not realizing that. What's happened until salvation. Is that while the kingdom of God. Is now within us. There are other kingdoms in us. There are other ways. Of operation. And thinking. And doing. And believing. And seeing. And talking. And loving. And giving. And parenting. And financially. That we have made. And built in our own kingdoms. And the kingdom of God. Comes to root out. Pull down. Destroy and throw down. Any other kingdom. That is inside of us. And sometimes we don't even know. Those kingdoms are in us. But those kingdoms. Have trained us. Even before we were in. I mean even before we got out of our mother's wombs. We were being trained. By things that we were hearing. That weren't necessarily of God. And even as we moved. Into the earth. We began to experience. Things in life. That were far from God. Well for 10 15 18 20 25 30 35 years for some of us. Kingdoms were developed. Inside of us. And those kingdoms. Are diametrically opposed. To the kingdom of God. And so for the rest. Of your life. God's gonna be working. Kingdoms that stand. Against him. Out of you. Because it's those kingdoms. That want you. To believe God doesn't have you. Because they want. To take from you. The only thing. That belongs to God. In the first place. Which is your hope. With that being said. We have to be aware. Of this kingdom of God. Citizens. Enter the kingdom of God. Through tribulation. Kingdom of God. Citizens Enter the kingdom. Through tribulation. It's one thing. To know. That we meet tribulation. In our journey. But it's another thing. To know. It's appointed. When you signed up. For this. You signed up. For this. You signed up. For persecution. And difficulty. And hardship. Now I know. You didn't do that. In the new member's room. But God did it in heaven. Because you would have ran out of the room. Hold up. What's this tribulation? I came to get. Out of tribulation. But I'm entering. The kingdom. And to enter. Into the kingdom. Even at deeper measures. It means that yes I'm going to have to deal. With greater tribulation. You are a phenomenal people. And to believe. That hardship. Is going to leave you alone. And you're going to be able. To skirt around it. That's just not the way. Of what God's doing with you. That's just not attached. To the calling. And the anointing. That is in your. Call to do big things. For the kingdom of God. Which means sometimes. You're going to have. Big problems. You're going to have. Big issues. You're going to have. Big challenges. All that is a part. And these things. Will discourage you. But I want you. To be mindful. That no matter. What the challenges. Of life are. Whether they are losses. Whether they are persecution. Whether it is frustration. Whether it is fear. We can do. All that we need. All things. Through Christ. Who strengthens us. Now what you got to understand. About this scripture. Because there's a lot of times. That people take the word of God. And they abuse it. To meet the need they want. This ain't talking about. I can get a house. This ain't I can get a car. This ain't I can get married. In the next three and a half years. No, no. When Paul wrote this. BrUh was suffering. Can I call Paul bruh? BrUh was suffering. And he said. Look, I'm having to learn. How to live with everything. And I'm having to live. With nothing. See, some of you. You ain't settling. Unless you've got. A certain amount of money. In the bank. You ain't got to say nothing. But unless you've got. A certain amount of money. Unless you've got. A certain amount of relationships. Unless you've got. A certain kind of thing. Going on. You don't feel like God is with you. But understand. You signed up. For tribulation. Don't say nothing. To your neighbor. Just look at him. But no matter. What the suffering is. I can do all things. Through Christ. Who strengthens me. Greater is he. That's in me. Than he that is. In the world. He's my God. My fortress. My rock. He's my refuge. He's my strength. I'm strong in him. And the power of his might. It's his might. That I'm living in. It's his might. That I'm facing. These ordeals in. And I can do all things. Through Christ. Who strengthens me. For nothing will separate me. From the love of God. I can't mess up enough. To be separated from God. You're not dealing with hardships. Because God's trying. To separate himself from you. You're in hardships. Because he's forging you. Forming you into. The image of Christ. Nothing can separate you. From God. No word. No thought. No deed. No attitude. No mindset. No behavior. This is a God. That has big love. And no matter where you go. On the top of the mountain. He's there. On the valley. He's there. He's a big God. With big love. And nothing can cut you off. From him. He's a sovereign God. He is mighty. He's got a calling. And anointing. Hear me. He hasn't changed his mind. About you. Just because you've got trouble. If he would have changed his mind. He would have told you. He would have told you, man. He would have told you. If he changed your mind. But he hasn't changed his mind. Matter of fact, he says. No weapon. Formed against you. Shall prosper. I don't care if it's a bad weave. Or an infirmity. No weapon. A dropped out eyelash. No weapon. An ugly toenail. No weapon. Formed against you. Shall prosper. Because the Lord is always. Already settled things. About you. And gives you every reason. To have hope in him. 2 Timothy 3. Paul points out to Timothy. Talking about his own soul persecution. And suffering. That Paul endured. He goes on to share that. Son, hear me clearly. This is the way of all. Who want to live godly. In Christ Jesus. How many of you in here. Want to live godly. In Christ Jesus? Okay, I'm going to ask again. Because some of y'all are like I'm just, I don't know. Okay, how many of you. Want to live godly. In Christ Jesus? Yeah, this is the way. That it manifests. Prophetically speaking. And this points to why Glenn, this gathering. Is so important. As we enter this decade. I really sense. That it was entering into. The decade 2020. And it's going to be. And that it was going to manifest much reordering. It was going to manifest restoring. It was going to manifest reforming. And the body of Christ. Was excited about that. At least in the circles. Where I minister. The dilemma of the believer. In this was. And is. That with that prophetic anointing. The hiccups come. Now you alluded to that. This morning. That if there's going to be. A promise. There's going to be a problem. Where most people fall away. Is that they want the promise. But they don't want to go. Through the problems. God's a God of process. And God will process you. All your life. Ask Jesus. He will process you. All your life. Even though he gives you a word. Understand that there's. Some qualifications. Some requirements. There's some things. You're going to have to go through. And again. He hasn't changed his mind. Just because you're meeting. A bump in the road. But the hiccups have come. And the hiccups are still here. 2020. Was prophesied to be. A great decade. Before we knew it. Hear me closely. We had a pandemic. Let me go on. Let me go on. I'm going to leave that alone. Leave that right there. For Glenn to handle. We had quarantines. Lockdowns. Including churches. We had unemployment. Downsizing. We had the George Floyd's riots. With that came rioting. Black Lives Matter. Antifa. Ethnic unrest. Which the maestro. Of divide. Are still gaslighting that. Don't fall for any of that. DEI and LGBTQ. Boosted. Its expansion became more. Political rage. And all forms of things. And a host of tentacles. That were attached. To all of those things. Begin to show up. In our culture. And many people. Possibly even some of you. Have become. And are overwhelmed. By all you're seeing. And all you're dealing with. It doesn't look like. What so many believers. Concluded would be reordering. And restoring. And reforming. Why? Because we have a tendency. To conclude. And to interpret. The substance. And manifestation. Of prophetic utterances. Hear me. According to our own desires. According to our own wishes. But listen. What is God up to. In this decade? Yeah, yeah. Ten years I believe still. Of reordering. And restoring. I believe he's still. In this decade. Reordering. Restoring. And reforming. However. Hear me closely. He's doing it. Through fiery furnaces. He's doing it. Through lion's dens. He's doing it. Through pits. Instead of palaces. He's doing it. Through your personal. Caves of a duelm. He's doing it. Through upper rooms. Full of fear. While longing for power. And a fresh visitation. Of God. That seems to be avoiding you. And he says. In all of this. That if you'll seek me. You will find me. If you will seek me. With all your heart. That's how I discovered God, Glenn. I grew up in the church. Full of religion. I grew up in the Methodist church. So I knew the methods. I knew all the methods. And then. Went through college. Graduated Lord of How. Not anything. Not in Magnum. Come Lord of anything. But Lord of How. This is Lord of How. I was a walk-on football player. At Appalachian State. And I walked on my first semester. Came home in December. In January I got two letters. One letter said You're on academic probation. The other letter said We're giving you. A three and a half year. Full scholarship. I ain't tell these folk. About these folk. We was gonna ride that. I didn't tell them about that. So I struggled through college. Until I finally got into the degree. And guess what. My major. Was in college finally. Communications. And I've been doing that. With my life. Since 1983. I got a word from the Lord. And that shifted me. But I remember getting married. To my college sweetheart Susan. And we were married in 88. Moved to Raleigh. Then moved to Atlanta. And we got into Atlanta. And God really began to make us. It was a promotion on my company. I worked for the Hormel Foods Company. If you've ever eaten Spam. Blame me. Denny Morbistu. Vienna's Potted Meat. Hormel Foods Company. Hormel Chili. Light, less salt. All that stuff. And so in working. Life became overwhelming for me. And vitiligo broke out on my skin. Because of nerves. My hair began to fall out. Then it's age. Then it was nerves. Began to fall out. And I really felt like I was losing a handle on things. But I discovered God. Someone who was. Someone came to me. And told me. We believe that you're. You're called into ministry. And so I went through. All of the protocols for that. And built myself up. In the things of God. And finally moved into the understanding. That that's what I was called to do. But in it. There were still challenges. That were overwhelming. We were living. After paying our bills. And setting aside our spending plan for the week. I had $35 a week. That was left for me. And I was like. And so for lunch I was eating. Remember McDonald's cheeseburgers 49 cents. And the cheeseburger was 49 cents. The hamburger was 39. And I had a small Sprite. No ice please. I thought they were going to charge me for the ice. I just said No ice please. But it was God shaping me. It was the One of the toughest times in my life. But it was the Lord forming me. And in it. Above all else. I learned to seek the Lord. And I think that's me. And I think that's me. And I think that's me. With a lot of believers. Especially when we're highly gifted. And anointed. When we're talented. When we've had some success. When we get busy in ministry. As I'm talking to leaders. We begin to move off of the energy. Of our last accomplishment. As opposed to moving. By the Spirit of the Lord. But I begin to dive deeply into God. And I hope I'm helping somebody here. Because your answer is in seeking God. Your breakthrough is in seeking God. What needs to be discovered about you. Is another thing. Is another level. God's anointed you. And took you into another level. But what you're carrying. Has not come up to that level. And so you're fighting with things. At a level where your anointing is not. Your anointing's at another level. That's going to come through seeking God. And when you raise yourself up. To that ascension in Him. You're going to find out. That you've already destroyed. And worked through things. Through the working of God with you. That bring you victory. And so I had to really. Really begin to seek God. And know God. And discover God. And what I found in all of that. Was that I was becoming. Anchored in the Lord. Now talking fast forward to now. To be anchored in this decade. You're going to have to seek first. The kingdom of God. And that's what Matthew 6.33 tells us. To seek first the kingdom of God. Not second. Not third. Not fourth. Not making it an afterthought. But learning the ways of the kingdom of God. Learning the ways of the king. Moving with the kingdom of God. In every aspect of your life. Why? Because this kingdom is unshakable. And you feel like you're being shaken. But this kingdom is unshakable. And it has a king. That is an unchanging person. The kingdom of God. And the king of the kingdom. Is an absolute. Jesus tells us to seek first. The kingdom of God. Or in other words. He's saying. You're going to have to get. Into another realm. When hardship comes. You have to get into. Another realm. Well Terrell what do you mean by that? What I'm saying is. It requires total surrender. You've got to get into a place. Of total surrender. Where we surrender our inmost self. To God's divine self. E. Stanley Jones calls that. Our self for his self. Everybody say that. Say my self for his self. See when I surrender my will. To his will. Everything I need. In the midst of what I can't do. I cannot control. That which seeks to overtake me. To overrule me. To challenge my marriage. My family. My health. My finances. This is where you give God. And surrender your nevertheless. I give God my nevertheless. Not my will Lord. But your will. Understand this. Nevertheless scripturally. Never proves to be less. Nevertheless will always. Manifest and increase. Jesus gave God a nevertheless in GethsemanE. And became king of the world. God tells Jesus tells Peter. Cast your net on the other side. Peter says what. Nevertheless. And begins to be able to supply. Other fishermen. With what came into his boat. Nevertheless never means less. It always means more. And when you face hardship. You've got to humble yourself. Under the hand of God. And say nevertheless. I know it might be what I think I want. But God I only want. What you want me to want. I only be where you want to be. I only want to be doing. What you're doing. God if you say cut this off. Let's cut it off. I just want to be where you are. Nevertheless not my will. Thy will be done. And then number two. If it's going to take. The transforming of your mind. Romans 12 2 tells us. To be ye transformed. By the renewing of your mind. The tendency for even. The most seasoned believer. Is sometimes to live and move. And have our being. According to our own mind. And a lot of times. The more success. We've had. The less we really. Really believe we need God. The more intellectual I am. The more creative I am. The more ingenious I am. The more that I get accomplished. When hardships come. I forget about the fact. That Maybe I'm thinking about it. In the wrong way. Paul tells us to be transformed. By the renewing of our mind. That isn't just one time. That's every single day. Through the reading of God's word. But it's certainly. When difficulties. And hardships. I've got to see. Is my perspective. God's perspective. Am I thinking like God is thinking. Am I seeing it like God is seeing it. Or do I have my own presuppositions. That I'm working through. That I believe it should be like. That I think this is the way. It should come out. This is what I'm going to do. And I go away from the word of God. But transforming your mind. Will anchor you. Because it shifts the patterns. Of your thinking. And it brings you. Into fresh perspectives. And I think that's Paul says. Let this mind. Not your mind. Your mind got you here. My mind got me. Into what I'm in. But be you transformed. By the renewing of your mind. And Jesus says. Let this mind be in you. Which is also in me. What kind of mind. That's a mind that yields. To the full. We talked about this morning. The full sovereignty. And the full governing of God. See God. Let me tell you a secret. Lean forward. In this thing we're in. God still thinks. He's in control. God still believes that. You know if we was in the street. We say run stuff. God still thinks. This is about him. And the more we think. It's about us. The more difficult it is. To connect with him. And when you face a hardship. The last thing you need to be. Is disconnected from God. In any way shape or form. That's why you need to fast. You need to pray. You need to get in the spirit. You need to read. You need to get in. Accountable relationships. And make sure that you are. Aligned properly with God. So breakthrough can come. But often hear this. You don't need to come. Out of your situation. You just need to change. Your perspective. Yeah, this is what I've discovered. Is that God often changes us. Before he changes our situation. I mean God can seem. So uncaring sometimes. But he's far from uncaring. But God will change you. Before he'll change your situation. And that's why. He'll deal with you. More than he'll deal. With what somebody's doing to you. Yeah, he'll find out where you really are. And you'll say. But what about them? What'd Jesus tell Peter? Don't worry about him. In the hood. That ain't your business. But God wants to transform you. To look like and sound like Christ. So he wants you anchored. So again number one. You would seek first. The kingdom of God. Being anchored by. Transforming the way you think. Being anchored by. Tapping into the supernatural. Listen y'all. God is a supernatural God. We're in a supernatural kingdom. We have supernatural capacities. That he has given us. And to move through hardships. And to stay anchored in them. It takes the Holy Spirit. It takes the Holy Ghost. It takes supernatural power. That the Lord provides to us. And it's not just for speaking in tongues. No. It's for living life daily. It's not just for showing off my gifts. It's for bringing him into every aspect of my life. And tapping into his power. Why is his power so necessary. To keep me anchored. When I'm facing difficulties. Because his power overrides natural laws. It overcomes anything that is natural. It intervenes in history. And performs wonders. That are impossible for humans to perform. You don't have enough. To get you out of something. You face. And that's why we've got to turn it over. To the power of Holy Spirit. To lead us. To guide us. Some of us are just like. How do I figure this out. He said he'll lead you in the truth. There's truth about everything that you need. That will give you the strategies. And the direction. For what you need to do. To move through whatever you're dealing with. But the supernatural is there for us. To tap into God. While the power. Listen. There is natural power. But then there's supernatural. And we've got to feed. Supernatural power. Every single day. Supernatural power is the extension. Of God's nature. Where everything that God is. That is needed for the situation that you're in. His nature is designed. To demonstrate his love and his power. In whatever you're in. It's the power to move forward in God. It transforms lives. It transforms families. It transforms businesses. It transforms families. It transforms finances. It transforms health. We need supernatural power. But why does God want us to have that power? Number one. Because we're his offspring. And we're made in his image. If my daddy's got it. I should have it. Number two. It's the transformative agent of the trinity. That should never be capped. It should never be limited. It should never be minimized. It's the divine strength for empowerment. And often he is forgotten about. When we get in these tough places. But when you're anchored in him. You understand that it's because of this power. This power keeps me anchored. I've got to continue to cultivate that power. Move in that power. I've got to continue to understand that power. And then actuate that power. In every situation that I'm in. That is a hardship. There is nothing too hard for God. He's God of the impossible. He can do anything. At any time. With anyone. Regarding anything. And I've got to learn to do that. I've got to learn to activate that power. In my life. It's not just for a few. It's for everyone that will open themselves up. And say power of the living God. I need you to come in. Come in by wisdom. Come in by healing. Come in by deliverance. Come in by transformation. Come in by giving me new insight. New revelation. Come in by your counsel. Come in by your might. Come in by your intellect. But God I don't have the wherewithal. To deal with what I'm dealing with. I need the power of God. Because the power of God. My power won't get it done. And so he builds us in this way. That we glorify. And we honor him. And when you tap into the supernatural. You manifest the ability. To next use adversity. As your servant. People who are anchored. Understand using adversity. As your servant. Say perspective. The kingdom of God perspective. The approach of God. Should be to God. Should be to convert hardships. Into tools for growth. You have a dominion authority. That's not over people. That's over any high thing. That would exalt itself. Against the knowledge of God. To try and keep you from being. Who you should be. You have incredible power. To subdue, to rule, and to reign. You have an authority. An authoritative nature. That is given you by Christ Jesus. You are able to convert hardships. Into the power of God. Into a tool for your growth. See, if you have an obstacle in your life. Reframe from your present thought pattern. Right? And get into what it is. Or into the way that God thinks about it. Well, how do I know how God thinks about it? It's in his word. And his word will never return void. It will accomplish everything that he sends it into. When God gives you a word, speak it. When God gives you a word, decree it. When God gives you a word, declare it. When God gives you a word, prophesy it. When God gives you a word, declare it. When God gives you a word, open up. The weapon that you have against warfare. Against the hardship or the challenge. And speak what thus saith the Lord. And I don't have to wait. Till I get the church to speak it. I can do it in a moment. In a twinkle of an eye. See, when I enter a difficulty. I know that it is the opportunity. To move into a greater usefulness to God. And isn't that what we want? We want to be instruments in the hand of God. We want to be men in the hand of God. We want to be men and women. That are connected in deep intimacy with him. That he can use to move and do things in the earth. Which is in bad need of God. So anytime that I run into a challenging situation. I realize that it is an opportunity. To move into greater usefulness to God. So that his desires can then be presented to me. And I can carry them out through my transformation. This is what I found out. And I think if you're leading a congregation. You'll know this too. Most people want to get it over with. Even Jesus said, if you can. If you can just. If you can just. Most people want to get it over with. I choose to let's get into it. Let's get into it. Why? So I can get out of it. What I'm supposed to become. So I can get out of it. What I'm supposed to be through it. Understand. I don't run from my enemies. I don't run to them. I don't run from hardship. I run to it. That's the model. Pattern that we see of David. David didn't run from Goliath. David picked up five stones and went towards him. You've got to learn by the power of God. To go toward the adversity. Don't run from it. If they're calling you about a bill. Answer the phone. Don't run from it. And answer it in your government name. Is Larry there? No. And you got a jersey with Larry on the back of it. But I run to it. Why? Because I want to go ahead and become what I'm supposed. Why delay it? Why delay the greater level of anointing? The great next level of breakthrough. When I can just look at it and say God is with me. He will never leave me. He will never forsake me. He's given me his promises. And I'm going to move in the truth of the spirit of God. And get into what God has for me. Adversity is supposed to work for us. Why? Because it has a purpose. Your adversity is supposed to work for you. Adversity has a purpose. I'm trying to help all of us to see. That it's nothing to be afraid of. But it's to understand it's a way of life in the kingdom. Adversity has a purpose. And in it having a purpose. You got to be bold enough to tell it. Come on and work for me. Work for me. Spirit of adversity. Work for me. Work for me. Because you're going to bring me into a greater level of glory. You're going to move me into a way of thinking. I never knew I could think. And solve problems in ways I never knew I could think of. I never thought I could solve them. You're going to give me antidotes and insight and direction. That I didn't even think that I had. I'm not going to moan. I'm not going to mope. I'm not going to cry. I'm going to understand that I am strong in him. And the power of his might. And I'm going to move through adversity. Look at 2 Corinthians 4.17. And I'm going to be wrapping up. 2 Corinthians 4.17. Paul writes this. He says For our light momentary affliction. Now look at this y'all. Take this out. Take this out. God calls what you're dealing with. Have dealt with. Are going to deal with. Light. Now hear me. If God says it's light. It's what? Now about 14 of you got with me on that. The other ones you're trying to weigh it. No, light means light. Now come on work with me. Because I think we're streaming aren't we? You know we need to make the people know. We know what's happening. Light means what? Light means light. If God says it's light. It's light. I have to begin to see from God's lens. When difficulty comes. I've got to be able to speak those things. That are not as though they were. As they apply to. I've got a word from God. Regardless of what that looks like. God calls it light. It's a bad report. God calls it light. It's an overwhelming challenge. God says it's light. But not only is it light. He says it's a momentary affliction. It's ever more and more. Doing something abundant. In me. We have to endure hard times. As a good soldier. You and I can't go AWOL. When life appears to fall apart. Why? Because there's somebody else on a cross too. That needs ministry. Jesus could have clocked out at Calvary. He's on the cross. He's already challenged what's going on with me and you. God. Now you're telling me. To witness to somebody. This dude's trying to kill me. And you're telling me to witness. I don't know how I'm going to do that. I'm going to pay this mortgage. And you're telling me to buy somebody else's groceries. I don't know how I'm going to get through this marital situation. And you're telling me to pray for Sally. For her marriage. I barely like Sally. God will put you on a cross. And say now do ministry. Glenn said it this morning. Because it's about him. It's not about us. And when we get in hardship. It's so easy to turn inward. And make it about me. To the point that I block. I want the whole world. The creatures that are waiting. In earnest expectation. For me to be revealed. But I got my own thing going on. I got a hardship. And I got to call these six people. That I always call and complain about it. I'm telling you. There comes a season in your life. Where people should grow up. And maybe in your phone. The directory needs to say. Do not answer. Because they're just playing games. They don't want to grow. They don don't want to change. Don't want to mature. They just want to pity party. They don't want to grow. He says what I'm doing in you. Is to prepare and produce. And to achieve for you. An everlasting weight of glory. I want to make you pleasing to me. More pleasing to me. I want to align you more. With my purpose and my design for you. I want you to see and know. That you are great in me. And I am in you. And we are one. And there is nothing. That you can do without me. And I'm coming into everything. That you're in me. And it won't contaminate me. It won't hurt me. It's not going to change my mind about you. I'll still love you. But I'm telling you. You have to understand. And that's what I had to do. When I was in Atlanta. My hair was falling out. And we had no money. And vitiligo was eating my skin up. And I was close to ulcers. And even as I've gone through life. I've been reminded of those things. And knowing how I felt with them. I said I can't go down that road again. I was transitioning. Out of a 14,000 member ministry. That I led in Charlotte. The bishop of the ministry decided to go a different way. Than what I believed we needed to do. And so they terminated me. Fired at 50 years old. I had a choice. To curl up in a corner somewhere. Or to tap into who I was in God. And what I had in God. And what God wanted to still do with me. Regardless of what man or woman's opinion are of you. There's still a calling on my life. And because I had learned to yield to God. The preparation. The production. And the achieving. Of a greater glory in my life. Manifested. He says what I want to do with you. Is to build an everlasting weight of glory. God wants to glorify you. So he puts us through things. And stands right there with us. While we're in it. Maybe he's not saying anything. Because he said everything you need. Maybe he's not doing anything. Because he's put everything. In you that you need to do. But the power and the glory of the Lord. That rests upon you as an anointed believer. You got to tap into it. Because I'm telling you now. Life's going to become more challenging. For the next several years. But that's okay. When you're living in a promised space. Goshen won't bother you. You won't be overwhelmed. When you stay in him. When you stay anchored in him. When you make him the priority. That he wants to become and be in your life. Some of us. You need to get back to him. We can get so busy. With the work of the ministry. We forget about the ministry of the Lord. And God is saying to some of you. You need to get back to him. That's where your answers and your breakthrough are. I'm closing right here. That's the Baptist in me. Glenn. Galatians 6-9 says. And let us I tell you what can you do this. Can you just grab somebody's hand right now. And I'll read it. You can go back to it later. Just grab somebody's hand. Just grab somebody's hand. Look at him and tell him. I'm holding the hand of an overcomer. I'm holding the hand of an overcomer. He says And let us. I'm going to go real grammatically incorrect on this. And let us. Turn to somebody and say. We is us. Fix that with the kids when you get home. He knows better. He's just carrying on up there. Don't talk like that. Baby. We is us. Let us not lose heart. Let us not grow weary. Let us not become faint. In doing what's right. In following God. No matter how challenging the matter is. For God. I live and for God I'll die. I will stay in you. I'm not just going to sing songs about your goodness. I'm going to show people your goodness. Through this situation. He says. Don't grow weary and faint. In acting nobly and doing right. For in due time. In due time. It's not about me to know the time. It's about me to know the posture. It's about me to know the posture. I've got to be in the right posture. As I'm enduring these times. Oh yes you're going to endure. Like you never have before. When you come out of the meetings this week. But as I'm enduring. I want the right posture. Because in due time. And I don't know when that is. But I'm just staying. With my eyes and my focus on him. And the ways of him. He says you're going to reap. If we do not loosen. And relax our courage and faith. Woman of God. You got a husband dependent on you. Man of God. You got a wife depending on you. Brothers, sisters. You got each other watching. And looking at you. You don't know. Who you're fueling in your journey. But that hand you're holding. That's a valuable person. In the kingdom of God. And what you represent. Is mighty in the eyes of the Lord. Don't lose heart. Don't relax. Don't just hope it goes away. No. Get anchored. Deeper and deeper. Let that be your goal. Every day to be anchored. More than ever today. Than I was yesterday. To not just have an intellectual understanding of God. But an experiential working. Experience with him. I know I'm growing. And I'm becoming more useful. To the purposes of God. That hand you're holding. You don't know what they're up against. But I can tell you one thing. It's working for their good. And you might feel overwhelmed. But it's working for your good. And if we'll just lock in. And stay steadfast. And immovable. And keep abounding. Because I'm anchored. I'm going to see the good that's working. I'm going to see the good that's manifest. This is such a timely gathering. Because I'm anchored. Because of the conditions of our world. And you are in this dispensation of time. To be leaders in the culture. Through hardship. If you're in here. And you're dealing with some present challenges. That you want grace manifested. To move you through it. Just come to the altar. And you know where you are. And what you're dealing with. And don't be concerned about who's watching. And what they're thinking. But you know I need grace. I need an answer to that question. I need an outpouring. I need to get into an anchored position in God. Where I'm refreshed in that. I know I have that. I'm not going to give up. I'm not going to throw in the towel. I'm going to stay focused on Him. You need grace to endure the challenge. I think we should thank God for these men and women. That are moving right now. I think we should bless God for them. Because there's an honesty and a transparency. That's going to bring breakthrough for your life. Just keep making your way. Some of you. You're contemplating. For whatever reason. But you need grace. To get through this present challenge. Yeah. What's so beautiful for all of you. Is the Lord's already gone through it. He's already gone through it. And now He's just coming back to get you. To bring you through it. He's already handled it. He's got the answer, the direction. He's the God of the finished work. And He just wants to come back. And bring you through it. Because your life is a model. For people that you don't know. Or don don't even know are watching you. You're not weak by coming here. You're strong. When you're weak, you're strong. You're not out of the will of God. You are dead smack in the middle of it. Sometimes the will of God. Can feel tough. But it's making you again another. It's reordering you. It's restoring you. It's reforming you. And God's with you. You may not feel like it. But this thing ain't about feelings. It's about an intimate relationship with Him. A non-transactional relationship. That at my worst. He's still at His best. No matter how heavy things are for me. He's still being God for my life. And then there's another group of you. That you just want to be built up. Because you inspect your life. And you see where. This happens, this happens. You fall apart. This goes on, this goes on. You fall apart. Say stuff you shouldn't say. Watch stuff you shouldn't watch. Get in conversations you shouldn't be in. Because a moment of silence. A moment hits. And before you know it. That hardship rules you. Instead of you ruling it. If that's you, you can come up as well. Because I think God's going to pour out. On all of us together by His grace. He's going to anchor us tonight. In a great and awesome way. But you just want to be built up. You want to be built up. You want to have the God response. When you should. You want to learn to go and find God's perspective about things. Instead of your own. You just want to get where God is. And the Lord wants to meet you there. He wants to meet you there. When you get trickled like this. It means two things. It means some people are wrestling. And then some people are just hoping. That this gets over real quick. Because I know I need to come. But I'm not going to because somebody thinks I've got it all together. Don't let pride get in your way of breakthrough. Don't let pride get in your way of transformation. There's about eight more of you. That need to come. There's eight more of you. Seven more of you that need to come. About seven more of you. That need to make your way forward tonight. Six more that need to come. Five more of you. Four more that need to come. Three more. There's three more of you. That God wants to pour out on tonight. Yeah, two more. Come on, let's encourage our brothers and sisters. This is. We don't have to be quiet. It's not a funeral. This is an ascension. There's one more person in here. That God wants to pour out tonight. On with this group. One more. Where you're sitting. Tap into the supernatural. Begin to pray. Begin to pray wherever you are. And you're going to see God. Lead that person by their hand. Down with their hands. To the rest of these men and women. You've already done it. Now, this is the way life is. You're either in an issue. You're going through an issue. Or you're about to come into one. It's the way God does things. So think it not strange. That you're dealing with matters. The key is to do it anchored in God. Seeking Him first. Knowing Him. Diving into Him. Sometimes it gets challenging. To be able to stay consistent in God. A new consistency is going to come. To you. A new burn for God. A thirst for God. A hunger for God. And I'm not up here saying. That God's going to change you. I mean, change your situation right now. But I do know God has your attention. Since then you've been raised with Christ. Set your mind on things above. Not on earthly things. Don't worry about how things are going to work out. And how it's going to come to pass. And how God's going to do it. Brothers, sisters. That's not our position. Our position is to surrender. And set their minds on you. That you are the great I am. That you're the God above all things. You're the God that does everything well. Father, let the love of God. Be poured out on your sons and on your daughters. In the name of Jesus. We come against everything that we have. Every behavior that is outside of the way of God. That men and women gravitate to. When they meet the hardships. Come on, release it now. Release those things now. If it's anger. If it's bitterness. If it's withdrawal. If it's fear. If it's frustration. If it's doubt. Come on, settle up with him. Forgive me, father. Yeah, settle up with him. Because sometimes when you feel like. You're far from God. Because of sin. You don't think God's going to move in your life. You don't think God's going to bring you out of. Bring you through. Or sustain you. Let go of every weight and every sin. That so easily besets you. There's a race you've got to run. There are men and women. That are looking and needing you. To move in power. And anointing. Insight, revelation and wisdom. Come on, don't stop praying for them. Don't stop. Just imagine if it was you. Needing breakthrough. Father, we give these hearts. Hard places to you. We declare the gavel of God. Coming down in the timing of God. To destroy everything that is working. Of the adversary against these men
