Okay. So last week we canceled youth on you guys. No, it was not planned. I know that we have talked about how next week we're not going to be meeting because we're going to be at camp. But last week we kind of canceled last minute. And I just wanted to take a minute to talk to you guys about why Matt and I chose to do that last week. So in total, there are nine of you guys and leaders and stuff like that that were taking time last week out of like your summer and out of your regular schedule and everything. And y'all chose to volunteer and serve. Some of you guys were literally in another country. And when me and Matt started like kind of tallying who all was going to be in other places, and I know some of you guys felt torn on being here or being at the places that you you had been gathering or serving at. And we didn't want to do that to you guys. We didn't want y'all to feel torn on that.
And so I just want to say that the whole purpose behind us doing that is because we tell you guys all the time, we tell you guys all the time that MOVE is not like the church, that there's the Big C Church. And you guys gathered with the Big C Church last week and I know sometimes that like us talking about how like y'all don't have to reach a certain milestone or age or something like that in order to serve and be the hands and feet of Jesus. I know sometimes that seems daunting or like y'all feel like y'all can't really do that yet. But you guys were literally doing that last week. And I just wanted to say that I was really excited that you guys were doing that. People who weren't doing that, people who weren't doing that, last week, y'all are also a part of the Big C Church. And I encourage the girls in our group texts to be in prayer for those who were gathering and serving and leading in other places. And so I just wanted to let you guys know that that's what we mean. And a lot of you guys walked that out last week. And a lot of y'all joined us and our leaders on praying for the ones who were gathering other places and serving.
So with all that being said, we will not be meeting next week because we will be at camp. So are y'all excited for camp? Okay. Well, good. Good.
I'm glad. Do y'all know what is next on the roster after camp? We're going to do Youth Survivor. So y'all go ahead and start putting that on your calendars and talking.
Kingston won last year. He is going to be the defending champ this year. So he's got to, he's got to do it again. So y'all be putting that on your calendar.
It's going to be September 5th. Okay. And more details on that will be coming about. Okay.
Guys, I need, I need y'all's eyes and I need your ears and I need y'all to listen. Okay. I know y'all are excited, but I need y'all to listen. Okay.
Now what we're going to do, Joy had an appointment today, an appointment. And so she wasn't going to be able to be here to sing tonight. And she hates that she's missing it and all the things. So we're going to do a track play like we normally do. It's fine. I don't care. Like we used to normally do.
And I know last time we did this, some of the girls that were like new to youth were a little confused. So it's kind of like, if you've been to 920 prayer, it's basically like that. We're going to have a track play. You guys are free to walk around, not like go behind, behind curtains and stuff, but you guys are free to like walk around. It's not a time to like sit with your friends and talk and stuff like that. It's time for us to recenter, get our minds and hearts prepared.
Fox is our guest speaker tonight, our surprise speaker. All these times, like I was telling him, I was like, they always guess you and now they're not guessing you anymore. And here you are. So he is going to be giving us a message tonight and he'll come up. After we get done with our track.

So, um, everybody just be, be respectful, listen. And, uh, whenever he gets done, we'll do our breakout as usual. Okay.
And then we'll play four square. All right. I'm going to pray real quick and then we'll break out into our worship song. Okay. All right. Father, thank you so much for each and every student here. Lord, I pray that you, um, just to open their spiritual eyes and ears to hear what it is that you do. Father, I just pray that, um, you just continue to, to reveal more of yourself to all of us, Lord, that you continue to show, show us your ways, Father, and, um, continue to invite us in to the things that you have for us. Lord, I just pray over Fox as he delivers, um, the message that he has prepared. Lord, I pray that all of his words are your words, Father, and we love you and we honor you. And we pray that you will continue to show us your ways, Father, and we love you you. We praise you in Jesus' name. Amen.
