And he didH6213 that which was rightH3477 in the eyesH5869 of JehovahH3068, according to all that DavidH1732 his fatherH1 had doneH6213.
He in the firstH7223 yearH8141 of his reignH4427, in the firstH7223 monthH2320, openedH6605 the doorsH1817 of the houseH1004 of JehovahH3068, and repairedH2388 them.
And he brought inH935 the priestsH3548 and the LevitesH3881, and gathered them togetherH622 into the broadH7339 place on the eastH4217,
and saidH559 unto them, HearH8085 me, ye LevitesH3881; now sanctifyH6942 yourselves, and sanctifyH6942 the houseH1004 of JehovahH3068, the GodH430 of your fathersH1, and carry forthH3318 the filthinessH5079 out of the holyH6944 place.

Wherefore the wrathH7110 of JehovahH3068 was upon JudahH3063 and JerusalemH3389, and he hath deliveredH5414 them to be tossedH2189 to and fro, to be an astonishmentH8047, and a hissingH8322, as ye seeH7200 with your eyesH5869.
For, lo, our fathersH1 have fallenH5307 by the swordH2719, and our sonsH1121 and our daughtersH1323 and our wivesH802 are in captivityH7628 for this.

and of the sonsH1121 of ElizaphanH469, ShimriH8113 and JeuelH3273; and of the sonsH1121 of AsaphH623, ZechariahH2148 and MattaniahH4983;
and of the sonsH1121 of HemanH1968, JehuelH3171 and ShimeiH8096; and of the sonsH1121 of JeduthunH3038, ShemaiahH8098 and UzzielH5816.
And they gatheredH622 their brethrenH251, and sanctifiedH6942 themselves, and wentH935 in, according to the commandmentH4687 of the kingH4428 by the wordsH1697 of JehovahH3068, to cleanseH2891 the houseH1004 of JehovahH3068.
And the priestsH3548 wentH935 in unto the inner partH6441 of the houseH1004 of JehovahH3068, to cleanseH2891 it, and brought outH3318 all the uncleannessH2932 that they foundH4672 in the templeH1964 of JehovahH3068 into the courtH2691 of the houseH1004 of JehovahH3068. And the LevitesH3881 tookH6901 it, to carry it outH3318 abroadH2351 to the brookH5158 KidronH6939.
Now they beganH2490 on the firstH259 day of the firstH7223 monthH2320 to sanctifyH6942, and on the eighthH8083 dayH3117 of the monthH2320 cameH935 they to the porchH197 of JehovahH3068; and they sanctifiedH6942 the houseH1004 of JehovahH3068 in eightH8083 daysH3117: and on the sixteenthH8337 day of the firstH7223 monthH2320 they made an endH3615.
Then they wentH935 inH6441 to HezekiahH2396 the kingH4428 within the palace, and saidH559, We have cleansedH2891 all the houseH1004 of JehovahH3068, and the altarH4196 of burnt-offeringH5930, with all the vesselsH3627 thereof, and the tableH7979 of showbreadH4635, with all the vesselsH3627 thereof.
Moreover all the vesselsH3627, which kingH4428 AhazH271 in his reignH4438 did cast awayH2186 when he trespassedH4604, have we preparedH3559 and sanctifiedH6942; and, behold, they are beforeH6440 the altarH4196 of JehovahH3068.
Then HezekiahH3169 the kingH4428 arose earlyH7925, and gatheredH622 the princesH8269 of the cityH5892, and went upH5927 to the houseH1004 of JehovahH3068.
And they broughtH935 sevenH7651 bullocksH6499, and sevenH7651 ramsH352, and sevenH7651 lambsH3532, and sevenH7651 heH6842-goatsH5795, for a sin-offeringH2403 for the kingdomH4467 and for the sanctuaryH4720 and for JudahH3063. And he commandedH559 the priestsH3548 the sonsH1121 of AaronH175 to offerH5927 them on the altarH4196 of JehovahH3068.
So they killedH7819 the bullocksH1241, and the priestsH3548 receivedH6901 the bloodH1818, and sprinkledH2236 it on the altarH4196: and they killedH7819 the ramsH352, and sprinkledH2236 the bloodH1818 upon the altarH4196: they killedH7819 also the lambsH3532, and sprinkledH2236 the bloodH1818 upon the altarH4196.
And they brought nearH5066 the he-goatsH8163 for the sin-offeringH2403 beforeH6440 the kingH4428 and the assemblyH6951; and they laidH5564 their handsH3027 upon them:
and the priestsH3548 killedH7819 them, and they made a sin-offeringH2398 with their bloodH1818 upon the altarH4196, to make atonementH3722 for all IsraelH3478; for the kingH4428 commandedH559 that the burnt-offeringH5930 and the sin-offeringH5930 should be made for all IsraelH3478.
And he setH5975 the LevitesH3881 in the houseH1004 of JehovahH3068 with cymbalsH4700, with psalteriesH5035, and with harpsH3658, according to the commandmentH4687 of DavidH1732, and of GadH1410 the king'sH4428 seerH2374, and NathanH5416 the prophetH5030; for the commandmentH4687 was ofH3027 JehovahH3068 byH3027 his prophetsH5030.
And the LevitesH3881 stoodH5975 with the instrumentsH3627 of DavidH1732, and the priestsH3548 with the trumpetsH2689.
And HezekiahH2396 commandedH559 to offerH5927 the burnt-offeringH5930 upon the altarH4196. And whenH6256 the burnt-offeringH5930 beganH2490, the songH7892 of JehovahH3068 beganH2490 also, and the trumpetsH2689, together with the instrumentsH3627 ofH3027 DavidH1732 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478.
And all the assemblyH6951 worshippedH7812, and the singersH7892 sangH7891, and the trumpetersH2689 soundedH2690; all this continued until the burnt-offeringH5930 was finishedH3615.
And when they had made an endH3615 of offeringH5927, the kingH4428 and all that were presentH4672 with him bowedH3766 themselves and worshippedH7812.
Moreover HezekiahH3169 the kingH4428 and the princesH8269 commandedH559 the LevitesH3881 to sing praisesH1984 unto JehovahH3068 with the wordsH1697 of DavidH1732, and of AsaphH623 the seerH2374. And they sang praisesH1984 with gladnessH8057, and they bowed their headsH6915 and worshippedH7812.
Then HezekiahH3169 answeredH6030 and saidH559, Now ye have consecratedH4390 yourselves unto JehovahH3068; come nearH5066 and bringH935 sacrificesH2077 and thank-offeringsH8426 into the houseH1004 of JehovahH3068. And the assemblyH6951 brought inH935 sacrificesH2077 and thank-offeringsH8426; and as many as were of a willingH5081 heartH3820 brought burnt-offeringsH5930.
And the numberH4557 of the burnt-offeringsH5930 which the assemblyH6951 broughtH935 was threescore and tenH7657 bullocksH1241, a hundredH3967 ramsH352, and two hundredH3967 lambsH3532: all these were for a burnt-offeringH5930 to JehovahH3068.
And the consecrated thingsH6944 were sixH8337 hundredH3967 oxenH1241 and threeH7969 thousandH505 sheepH6629.
But the priestsH3548 were too fewH4592, so that they couldH3201 not flayH6584 all the burnt-offeringsH5930: wherefore their brethrenH251 the LevitesH3881 did helpH2388 them, till the workH4399 was endedH3615, and until the priestsH3548 had sanctifiedH6942 themselves; for the LevitesH3881 were more uprightH3477 in heartH3824 to sanctifyH6942 themselves than the priestsH3548.
And also the burnt-offeringsH5930 were in abundanceH7230, with the fatH2459 of the peace-offeringsH8002, and with the drink-offeringsH5262 for every burnt-offeringH5930. So the serviceH5656 of the houseH1004 of JehovahH3068 was set in orderH3559.
And HezekiahH3169 rejoicedH8055, and all the peopleH5971, because of that which GodH430 had preparedH3559 for the peopleH5971: for the thingH1697 was done suddenlyH6597.
