WoeH1945 to thee that destroyestH7703, and thou wast not destroyedH7703; and dealest treacherouslyH898, and they dealt not treacherouslyH898 with thee! When thou hast ceasedH8552 to destroyH7703, thou shalt be destroyedH7703; and when thou hast made an endH5239 of dealing treacherouslyH898, they shall deal treacherouslyH898 with thee. O JehovahH3068, be graciousH2603 unto us; we have waitedH6960 for thee: be thou our armH2220 every morningH1242, our salvationH3444 also in the timeH6256 of troubleH6869. At the noiseH6963 of the tumultH1995 the peoplesH5971 are fledH5074; at the lifting upH7427 of thyself the nationsH1471 are scatteredH5310. And your spoilH7998 shall be gatheredH622 as the caterpillarH2625 gatherethH625: as locustsH1357 leapH4944 shall men leapH8264 upon it. JehovahH3068 is exaltedH7682; for he dwellethH7931 on highH4791: he hath filledH4390 ZionH6726 with justiceH4941 and righteousnessH6666. And there shall be stabilityH530 in thy timesH6256, abundanceH2633 of salvationH3444, wisdomH2451, and knowledgeH1847: the fearH3374 of JehovahH3068 is thy treasureH214. Behold, their valiant onesH691 cryH6817 withoutH2351; the ambassadorsH4397 of peaceH7965 weepH1058 bitterlyH4751. The highwaysH4546 lie wasteH8074, the wayfaring manH5674 ceasethH7673: the enemy hath brokenH6565 the covenantH1285, he hath despisedH3988 the citiesH5892, he regardethH2803 not manH582. The landH776 mournethH56 and languishethH535; LebanonH3844 is confoundedH2659 and withereth awayH7060; SharonH8289 is like a desertH6160; and BashanH1316 and CarmelH3760 shake offH5287 their leaves. Now will I ariseH6965, saithH559 JehovahH3068; now will I lift upH5375 myself; now will I be exaltedH7426. Ye shall conceiveH2029 chaffH2842, ye shall bring forthH3205 stubbleH7179: your breathH7307 is a fireH784 that shall devourH398 you. And the peoplesH5971 shall be as the burningsH4955 of limeH7875, as thornsH6975 cut downH3683, that are burnedH3341 in the fireH784. HearH8085, ye that are far offH7350, what I have doneH6213; and, ye that are nearH7138, acknowledgeH3045 my mightH1369. The sinnersH2400 in ZionH6726 are afraidH6342; tremblingH6342 hath seizedH270 the godlessH2611 ones: Who among us can dwellH1481 with the devouringH398 fireH784? who among us can dwellH1481 with everlastingH5769 burningsH4168? He that walkethH1980 righteouslyH6666, and speakethH1696 uprightlyH4339; he that despisethH3988 the gainH1215 of oppressionsH4642, that shakethH5287 his handsH3709 from takingH8551 a bribeH7810, that stoppethH331 his earsH241 from hearingH8085 of bloodH1818, and shuttethH6105 his eyesH5869 from lookingH7200 upon evilH7451: He shall dwellH7931 on highH4791; his place of defenceH4869 shall be the munitionsH4679 of rocksH5553; his breadH3899 shall be givenH5414 him; his watersH4325 shall be sureH539. Thine eyesH5869 shall seeH2372 the kingH4428 in his beautyH3308: they shall beholdH7200 a landH776 that reacheth afarH4801. Thy heartH3820 shall museH1897 on the terrorH367: Where is he that countedH5608, where is he that weighedH8254 the tribute? where is he that countedH5608 the towersH4026? Thou shalt not seeH7200 the fierceH3267 peopleH5971, a peopleH5971 of a deepH6012 speechH8193 that thou canst not comprehendH8085, of a strangeH3932 tongueH3956 that thou canst not understandH998. LookH2372 upon ZionH6726, the cityH7151 of our solemnitiesH4150: thine eyesH5869 shall seeH7200 JerusalemH3389 a quietH7600 habitationH5116, a tentH168 that shall not be removedH6813, the stakesH3489 whereof shall neverH5331 be pluckedH5265 up, neither shall any of the cordsH2256 thereof be brokenH5423. But there JehovahH3068 will be with us in majestyH117, a placeH4725 of broadH7342 riversH5104 and streamsH2975, wherein shall goH3212 noH1077 galleyH590 with oarsH7885, neither shall gallantH117 shipH6716 passH5674 thereby. For JehovahH3068 is our judgeH8199, JehovahH3068 is our lawgiverH2710, JehovahH3068 is our kingH4428; he will saveH3467 us. Thy tacklingsH2256 are loosedH5203; they could not strengthenH2388 the footH3653 of their mastH8650, they could not spreadH6566 the sailH5251: then was the preyH5706 of a greatH4766 spoilH7998 dividedH2505; the lameH6455 tookH962 the preyH957. And the inhabitantH7934 shall not sayH559, I am sickH2470: the peopleH5971 that dwellH3427 therein shall be forgivenH5375 their iniquityH5771.
