And JehovahH3068 saidH559 unto MosesH4872, SpeakH559 unto the priestsH3548, the sonsH1121 of AaronH175, and sayH559 unto them, There shall none defileH2930 himself for the deadH5315 among his peopleH5971; except for his kinH7607, that is nearH7138 unto him, for his motherH517, and for his fatherH1, and for his sonH1121, and for his daughterH1323, and for his brotherH251, and for his sisterH269 a virginH1330, that is nearH7138 unto him, that hath had no husbandH376; for her may he defileH2930 himself. He shall not defileH2930 himself, being a chief manH1167 among his peopleH5971, to profaneH2490 himself. They shall not makeH7139 baldnessH7144 upon their headH7218, neither shall they shave offH1548 the cornerH6285 of their beardH2206, nor makeH8295 any cuttingsH8296 in their fleshH1320. They shall be holyH6944 unto their GodH430, and not profaneH2490 the nameH8034 of their GodH430; for the offeringsH801 of JehovahH3068 made by fireH801, the breadH3899 of their GodH430, they do offerH7126: therefore they shall be holyH6918. They shall not takeH3947 a womanH802 that is a harlotH2181, or profaneH2491; neither shall they takeH3947 a womanH802 put awayH1644 from her husbandH376: for he is holyH6918 unto his GodH430. Thou shalt sanctifyH6942 him therefore; for he offerethH7126 the breadH3899 of thy GodH430: he shall be holyH6918 unto thee: for I JehovahH3068, who sanctifyH6942 you, am holyH6918. And the daughterH1323 of anyH376 priestH3548, if she profaneH2490 herself by playing the harlotH2181, she profanethH2490 her fatherH1: she shall be burntH8313 with fireH784. And he that is the highH1419 priestH3548 among his brethrenH251, upon whose headH7218 the anointingH4888 oilH8081 is pouredH3332, and that is consecratedH4390 to putH3847 on the garmentsH899, shall not let the hair of his headH7218 go looseH6544, nor rendH6533 his clothesH899; neither shall he go inH935 to any deadH4191 bodyH5315, nor defileH2930 himself for his fatherH1, or for his motherH517; neither shall he go outH3318 of the sanctuaryH4720, nor profaneH2490 the sanctuaryH4720 of his GodH430; for the crownH5145 of the anointingH4888 oilH8081 of his GodH430 is upon him: I am JehovahH3068. And he shall takeH3947 a wifeH802 in her virginityH1331. A widowH490, or one divorced, or a profaneH2491 womanH1644, a harlotH2181, these shall he not takeH3947: but a virginH1330 of his own peopleH5971 shall he takeH3947 to wifeH802. And he shall not profaneH2490 his seedH2233 among his peopleH5971: for I am JehovahH3068 who sanctifiethH6942 him. And JehovahH3068 spakeH1696 unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, SpeakH1696 unto AaronH175, sayingH559, WhosoeverH376 he be of thy seedH2233 throughout their generationsH1755 that hath a blemishH3971, let him not approachH7126 to offerH7126 the breadH3899 of his GodH430. For whatsoever manH376 he be that hath a blemishH3971, he shall not approachH7126: a blindH5787 manH376, or a lameH6455, or he that hath a flat noseH2763, or anything superfluousH8311, or a manH376 that is broken-footedH7667, or broken-handedH7667, or crook-backedH1384, or a dwarfH1851, or that hath a blemishH8400 in his eyeH5869, or is scurvyH1618, or scabbedH3217, or hath his stonesH810 brokenH4790; no manH376 of the seedH2233 of AaronH175 the priestH3548, that hath a blemishH3971, shall come nighH5066 to offerH7126 the offeringsH801 of JehovahH3068 made by fireH801: he hath a blemishH3971; he shall not come nighH5066 to offerH7126 the breadH3899 of his GodH430. He shall eatH398 the breadH3899 of his GodH430, both of the mostH6944 holyH6944, and of the holyH6944: only he shall not go inH935 unto the veilH6532, nor come nighH5066 unto the altarH4196, because he hath a blemishH3971; that he profaneH2490 not my sanctuariesH4720: for I am JehovahH3068 who sanctifiethH6942 them. So MosesH4872 spakeH1696 unto AaronH175, and to his sonsH1121, and unto all the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478.
