When thou sittestH3427 to eatH3898 with a rulerH4910, ConsiderH995 diligentlyH995 him that is beforeH6440 thee;
And putH7760 a knifeH7915 to thy throatH3930, If thou be a man givenH1167 to appetiteH5315.
Be not desirousH183 of his daintiesH4303; Seeing they are deceitfulH3577 foodH3899.
WearyH3021 not thyself to be richH6238; CeaseH2308 from thine own wisdomH998.
Wilt thou setH5774 thine eyesH5869 upon that which is not? For riches certainlyH6213 makeH6213 themselves wingsH3671, Like an eagleH5404 that fliethH5774 toward heavenH8064.
EatH3898 thou not the breadH3899 of him that hath an evilH7451 eyeH5869, Neither desireH183 thou his daintiesH4303:
For as he thinkethH8176 withinH5315 himself, so is he: EatH398 and drinkH8354, saithH559 he to thee; But his heartH3820 is not with thee.
