Psaumes 63
A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O GodH430, thou art my GodH410; earnestly will I seekH7836 thee: My soulH5315 thirstethH6770 for thee, my fleshH1320 longethH3642 for thee, In a dryH6723 and wearyH5889 landH776, where noH1097 waterH4325 is.
So have I lookedH2372 upon thee in the sanctuaryH6944, To seeH7200 thy powerH5797 and thy gloryH3519.
Because thy lovingkindnessH2617 is betterH2896 than lifeH2416, My lipsH8193 shall praiseH7623 thee.
So will I blessH1288 thee while I liveH2416: I will lift upH5375 my handsH3709 in thy nameH8034.
My soulH5315 shall be satisfiedH7646 as with marrowH2459 and fatnessH1880; And my mouthH6310 shall praiseH1984 thee with joyfulH7445 lipsH8193;
When I rememberH2142 thee upon my bedH3326, And meditateH1897 on thee in the night-watchesH821.
For thou hast been my helpH5833, And in the shadowH6738 of thy wingsH3671 will I rejoiceH7442.
My soulH5315 followeth hardH1692 afterH310 thee: Thy right handH3225 upholdethH8551 me.
But those that seekH1245 my soulH5315, to destroyH7722 it, Shall goH935 into the lower partsH8482 of the earthH776.
They shall be given overH5064 to the power of the swordH3027: They shall be a portionH4521 for foxesH7776.
But the kingH4428 shall rejoiceH8055 in GodH430: Every one that swearethH7650 by him shall gloryH1984; For the mouthH6310 of them that speakH1696 liesH8267 shall be stoppedH5534.
